Pellet Boiler & Pellet Airfurnace training in Winnipeg for HVAC technicians

On August 21, and 22, in conjunction with the commissioning of the boiler/generator system, Maine Energy Systems, with the support of Manitoba Hydro, will offer training in Winnipeg for interested HVAC technicians from any province. 

This two-day, hands-on training focuses on the installation and maintenance of MESys/ÖkoFEN residential and light commercial scale pellet-fired boilers and furnaces. 

It does not cover CHP products. 

Upon completion of the course, technicians become qualified to install MESys/ÖkoFEN products and have access to them through the factory and regional distributors.

Pellematic e-max CHP

Maine Energy Systems (www.maineenergysystems.com) is pleased to announce the first Canadian installation of an ÖkoFEN Pellematic_e-max CHP (combined heat and power) pellet-fired boiler system in Winnipeg, Manitoba. 

The Pellematic system will produce up to 60kW of thermal energy as it simultaneously produces up to 5kW of electricity energy from its Qnergy Stirling engine generator. 

The system will be installed by Lowe Mechanical Services on the University of Manitoba campus in Winnipeg  in a project entitled "Sustainable Food Production in Northern Communities."

The project is funded by the Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI) John R.Evans Leaders Fund.
