ENERGY BOX

Our Energy Boxes are manufactured in the Northwest Territories and will be delivered to your site in a mobile container constructed with a 2-3/4” cross containerized system.
All penetrations from the storage room to the boiler room, and from the boiler room to outside, are designed to be fire resistant, fire inhibiting, and flame-propagation-proof. The floor and the ceiling of the Energy Box boiler room are covered with aluminum diamond plating. The roof is completely wrapped with an ice and water shield and finished with steel roofing capable of handling 70lbs per square foot of snow load.

PLUG AND PLAY HEATING MADE SIMPLE

The MESys Energy Box is a complete self-contained heating system suitable for almost any application. Each Energy Box contains wood pellet storage, MESys AutoPellet boiler(s), flue, and fuel supply system. It is an ideal solution for municipalities, school districts and commercial applications where indoor space is limited. The Energy Box is also applicable for temporary buildings as the entire unit can easily be relocated to another site with minimal work. The Energy Box is delivered by truck, ready for installation, and is connected to the heating system in a matter of hours.

FLUE

High grade stainless steel, double walled, insulated, resists condensate, UL-103 sixth edition certified, corrosion resistant, pre-piped and disassembled awaiting reassembly upon delivery by contractor. Flue assembly per boiler comes with barometric dampener, through wall thimble, tee with cleanout, wall support, 12 feet of vertical stack, wall band support, roof braces, round top and spark arrester.

CONSTRUCTION OF FOUNDATION

Pre-prepared by contractor or third party.

DELIVERY AND RECEIPT OF ENERGY BOX

Unloading and placement of the Energy Box is the responsibility of the contractor or third party.

THE ENERGY BOX IS ELECTRICALLY PREINSTALLED

In the entrance area is a 120V service power socket. Fluorescent lighting is installed on the ceiling of the container.

An emergency shut-off switch is located inside the Energy Box near the entrance door. The emergency shut-off cuts the power supply to the boilers. The interior lighting continues to work for security reasons. Each Boiler has its own 220v 20amp circuit breaker.

Note: Pelletronic Online is available at additional cost.

HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT

Each boiler in the Energy Box is hydraulically preinstalled without circulator pumps (the contractor is responsible for sizing, supplying and installing the circulators). Each boiler has its own safety valve.
